Enfinity has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with the Indian conglomerate Videcon Industries, active in consumer electronics, Home Applicances, Oil & Gas and Power Plants, to develop large scale Indian projects in solar energy. The agreement was signed in presence of HRH Prince Filip of Belgium, during his royal mission to India. Enfinity also announced to open a new Pan-Indian office in Mumbaï to further support the companies growth strategy.

Capital increase of 45 million Euro should allow Enfinity to become one of the top 5 in the world

Enfinity announces that it will undertake a two-stage capital increase equalling 45 million Euro. This input of fresh capital will allow Enfinity to continue its ambitious growth plans. A solid capital base is thus secured for the development of renewable energy projects, but even more importantly, the recently established Enfinity Power business unit will be able to develop into an independent electricity producer and to generate a new, continuous source of income for the entire group.

Patrick Decuyper, co-founder of solar and wind energy company Enfinity from Waregem (Belgium), wins the Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (CYEA), an international entrepreneur award of Flanders DC and JCI. It is surprising that, although the award was established in Flanders (in 2005) through a cooperation between Flanders DC and JCI, it is the first time a Fleming has won it.

Enfinity, a global renewable energy developer, and Titan Energy Systems, a manufacturer of PV modules, today announced their collaboration on developing, financing and constructing 1 GWp of PV installations on 3000 acres of land in Andhra Pradesh in the coming 5 years. Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC - a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking) will allocate, in long lease, 3000 acres of land in Anantapur District in the state Andhra Pradesh.

Shanghai – China, Waregem - Belgium July 3rd 2009. China's largest and first PV power station, the 10MW franchised demonstrative PV project in Dunhuang City, northwest China’s Gansu Province (hereinafter referred to as “Dunhuang Project”) has finally fixed its on-grid electricity price at 1.09 yuan/kWh (0.113 euro/kWh), revealed an authority from the National Energy Administration.

The company Lidl Stiftung, based in Neckarsulm/Germany, has entered into a framework agreement with Enfinity and with SolarMarkt AG from Freiburg, Germany. The agreement relates to the installation and maintenance of solar systems on logistics centres of Lidl in Europe. The general project will be realised through a joint venture of the companies SolarMarkt and Enfinity, based in Frankfurt am Main.

Enfinity is consolidating its international position with a 50 million Euro investment by investment firm Waterland.

Villarobledo, Spain – 21 October 2008. Enfinity Management has completed and inaugurated 4 solar plants on land in Spain. These plants are the first photovoltaic projects realized by Enfinity on land. They will produce nearly 6,5 MW, enough energy to meet the needs of 3,690 homes of 4 members per year, and will prevent the emission of more than 12,000 T. of CO2.
