The Enfinity Wind Knowledge Center offers a wide package of services in the development of her wind projects:
Site selections
Our people are travelling around the world to meet landowners, local partners and investors. When a good contact is established, the site is investigated by the knowledge center. If the site reaches the minimum requirements for a wind project, feasibility studies will be carried out.
Feasibility studies
A feasibility study is divided into:
- Wind: detailed wind studies are performed. Thanks to a measurement mast installed onsite, for at least 1 year, we are able to collect information about wind speed, wind direction, air density, wind distribution… With this information we can accurately calculate the production and the layout of the wind park.
- Grid: In a grid study the characteristics of the electricity network are analysed. The distance between the electrical substation and the project is an important concern. Enfinity wind will also negotiate the required power purchase agreement (PPA) with utility companies.
- Financial
- Soil: Soil characteristics are investigated in order to have complete information for the civil works.
- Environmental: Enfintiy will carry out an impact study regarding birds, shadow, noise, aviation.
- Logistics: The knowledge center investigates the harbor possibilities and accessibility to the site.
Permit
If the feasibility studies are satisfying, Enfinity will do its best to obtain the permits with legal organizations.
Obtaining the necessary permits is a long and laborious task, but with our experience we will be able to minimize the time period.

Wind turbine selection
Our engineers are in permanent contact with the main wind turbine manufacturers and will select the best suited wind turbine in function of the feasibility studies.

Installation and maintenance
Enfinity will follow-up the installation performed by the manufacturer, and will always be the link between manufacturer and investor. We also look for the best maintenance contract with the manufacturer to avoid any problems for the investors.
